Silicon instructions by ForumWiedzy.pl:
1. Wash, degrease and dry the surface before siliconizing (if you change silicone, first you need to remove old silicone)
2. Prepare the cartouche with sanitary silicone by cutting its tip at a 45-degree angle with a wallpaper knife or scissors
3. Apply silicone between the basin and tiles with excess, slowly and calmly, preferably in a single string, to complete the entire crack.
4. Remove the excess silicone with a suitable size joint, so that the silicone remains on the surface of the basin and tiles at least 2mm, which will allow for a perfect combination of the surface.
5. Remove the excess silicone from the tiles and the washbasin using grout.
6. The surface after applying and smoothing the silicone with mouffer need not be perfectly even, smooth as glass, important to be strong and durable, and this guarantees the shape of the grout made with grouting, so after finishing work, leave the silicone place for 12 hours in a standstill the new silicone bonded with siliconized surfaces. After this time, you can wash the place of silicone with water and soap and it's ready.
DO NOT USE THE FINGING TREATMENT, because the silicone will not stick firmly to the surface in the thinnest place, and this will cause it to quickly move away from the surface of the tiles, the sink.
DO NOT USE THE PROTECTIVE TAPE, because using it will result in an ugly step in the corner where dirt, dust, drops of water, humidity will accumulate and this will cause even the best silicone to leave the surface.
DO NOT SCREAM WITH SOIL, a siliconized surface, because the detergent gets into the gaps between the silicone and surfaces, which will cause the silicone to quickly go away in these places, maybe not right away, but at a fast rate, because where there is a wet and slippery surface, there silicone is not allowed to stick, therefore the surface before silicination must be DRY and degreased.
There is information on the silicone packaging to use the adhesive tape for protection and with soap and water to smoothen the silicone surfaces at the end, which is completely senseless, but that's just my opinion.
You can believe me or not, but you just need a silicone and a grout of the right size to do all the work of applying silicone and do it right. The excess will always and accurately take grouting, even with rough terra cotta surfaces, just move the corner of the grout across the surface and the silicone will disappear, even if the tile is rough and black, and white silicone. Check if you do not believe.
Remember that you can use transparent silicone that does not catch the eye or special silicons of a given color under the color of the grout, thanks to which everything fits perfectly together, but these are dedicated and more expensive solutions, available in building stores on the shelves.
Good luck :)
For each type of silicone place, choose the appropriate shape of the joint and size, it is the key to success, not everything to do on the finger and soap, and after a month or three the effect is bad, silicone goes away, etc.
If someone wants to see the effects of silicon on the finger with soap in McDonald's, then please, it should open the eyes of everyone who sprinkles with a soap suds silicone place and additionally use a finger instead of grouting:
