This crap right here is why i will never buy another Turn 10 game, They have let Forza go down hill especially with the online community. There is no Penalty system in place to keep the crap players out of the online races. The hoppers are a Joke, All online races should have Sim Settings. The game is just not what it should be at this point in Turn 10s state. Hell Even GT Sport has a decent penalty system to help shed some of the Crap players online

GT Sport's penalties should be the basic standard for every racing game out there. It's a very good system which is easy to learn and understand, but also keeps the troublemakers away. Driver rating, safety regulations and ghosting keeps the community in a very healthy shape. You can't go on without it, unfortunately that's just what it is. The game will either penalise all the fuckers ramming people off the track, or it'll allow for such a misbehaviour and degrade the community by doing nothing like it is in Forza's case.

I use to do alot of Iracing until I had a bad run with some serious troll players and ended up getting deranked and set back extremly far because someone didnt want to lose to me when i passed him 3 turns from the line the final turn he jump the bumper and sent us both spinning off the track and i took a HUGE penalty because some child didnt want to take second.

Old Iron King I was sceptical about buying GT sport. But got it for 20 bucks on black Friday. And i have zero regrets. The racing feels awesome. The cars and lighting look amazing. And most races (especially after watching this shit) are intens and fair! Mutual respect. The community seems very good overall. And soon new cars and also a full offline GT mode for free. Even at full price i would absolutely not be disappointed!

Definitely, GT Sport is the way to go. Forza has nothing on it in pretty much all aspects, you might take my words with a grain of salt but it's true. What I just saw in this video from Forza 7 wasn't enjoyable to watch at all ( Apologies Super GT, I know you're active in the comments. The commentary was good as always, keep it up ). Absolutely no respect coming from the other immature drivers. This is no racing, this is an absolute shitstorm, and is unacceptable for a track racing game. I always wonder.. why did Turn 10 even bother making the track racer, if there are next to no conditions for a proper race anywhere you look. You'll have a blast racing online on GT Sport, compared to Forza it's the like a day and night difference.

I played both. Forza 7 on my xbox One X an GT Sport on my brothers PS4 Pro. They are both very close to eatch other. But GT Sport has the enormes advantage of these rank- and penaltysystem. Online GT Sport takes the cake.

Not anywhere near in terms of all things considered online indeed, on which GT Sport obviously focuses and is all about. It is afterall, the multiplayer competitive racing simulator. Soon however, with the career update on GT Sport it is safe to say Forza won't have anything on it in terms of offline content as well ( GT League being a throwback to traditional GT Campaign ), apart from the list of cars which on GT will be also around 500 in the end of the game's live development with better detailed vehicles than in Forza's case, as well as more tracks and game modes being added in. All in all, GT Sport is just a way safer bet for now and the future to come with a way healthier community.

So I had a thought. It feels like Horizons 3 brought a lot of new players into the franchise, it was a big game. I reckon that a lot of those new players bought into Forza 7 assuming that it was a continuation of the Horizons experience. Obviously that game is a lot more casual and messy. I think that it has infected 7 with that same attitude of just throwing yourself into races.

This video really does sum up online play in Forza 7, and quite frankly, the game in general. I have played every Forza game except the very first one, and I can say this one has been the biggest disappointment for me. The issues with online racing haven't been addressed at all, nor have issues with AI drivers in single player. All they did is add more loot box crap to the game, bump up the graphics to 4K, and called it a day. 2 years in development and that is all Turn 10 could do. Unfortunately I can't get a refund or trade it in because I bought it digitally, but I'm done with the Motorsport series. I refuse to buy any more of them until they take these issues seriously and fix them, instead of being lazy and just trying to cash in without really changing much. This garbage is why I feel Gran Turismo Sport is a far superior game. It may not have as much content yet, but what is there is better, especially online racing.

I have to agree that the standards of play aren't that high. If you can competently keep your car on the track, and have decent control with most assists off, and don't get immediately murdered you can do well. I had never played any Forza game online until Forza 7, just raced against pro and unbeatable AI. Hopped online and consistently finished in third to fifth place unless I got murdered by a rammer at some point in the race. That's really telling about most people's skill cuz I ain't that good. I just pay attention.

T10 knows the issues with MP, clearly they refuse to implement anything. This game has been a major let down. GT Sport has been a much better experience. Pains me to say that, but it’s nice to be back “home”

Fantasma 115 GT Sport will get an update every month, for example servers were not stable last month, but now I have 0 issues with the server, they will add career mode on December and 50 new cars and some tracks by march 2018, in one year I think GT Sport will have a total 300 cars with improved physics and the online will just get better and better.

I have on consoles, GT Sport and Forza 7. You can get great racing in BOTH online if you find the right crowd. I have had great races in both. Turn 10 does need to implement a penalty system for crashers. They will have to for Forza 7 to survive.

People do not treat these as real cars that cost a ton of money and 98% of them would be fired right away no matter how fast they are. Thats why I prefer full damage and full simulation but nobody can race. Its all posers that will just hit you if you are faster or try to cleanly pass.
