As a noob myself, I just use the E-brake to drift.. I don't know and care what A clutch is. And idk how to change gears in forza.

Clutch kicking is just pressing and releasing the clutch quickly to break traction on the rear tires. Its very hard on your clutch in real life. Ask me how I know lol

I started to learn how to drift in Forza 5 and once I entered Horizon 2 to do it, I found it so much easer because of the "floaty" mechanics of the Horizon games.

My early drifting days were on Gran tursimo 5 prologue with an R-34. AWD gave me a lot of trouble in the beginning, and now, my drifting style is a power over in a RWD S-15.

I agree with you for beginners like me starting with a not so powerful car like theone u are using is the best way. I am starting straight with a Nissan Skyline supercharged with all race upgrades RWD and it is impossible to drive too much power. Moreover i played too much with the tuning i.e camber, toe etc and the car cannot keep straight even. Any recommendation for drift tuning? thank you

I only have a 360 until Christmas then getting horizon 2 but I downloaded the 360 demo for this game and I do t know if they are completely the same but I could get a car side ways so much easier than forza 4 just needed a little more power and shortened gears.

No you need a Playstation controller to drift, but anything else you can use a XB360 controller

The Xbox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 is shit. The physics do not let you drift at all because any slide you get going just dies. Play the Xbox One version if you can and you will really feel the difference. Just make sure you have traction control turned off.

I kind of do the same thing. My set is in Manual w/ Clutch and for example. This S13, I'll be in 2nd gear. Right when the car slides I downshift into 1st. I don't know if this count as a drift. It makes me go faster, is that alright?

it is due how the weight is planted in the car, I like to use sports cars more than super or hypercars. BMW or AMG's are great stock cars to learn how to drift with in my opinion
