The best thing about Acceleracers was the execution of it. It wasn't another "Pointless Sci-fi". There is a lot of reason for it. Each track had the uncanny feeling of a Hotwheels track. It also made sense that there was a need for the transportation bit because of the tracks being so large, out of the norm, and the environment they have. The character development is something almost unheard of in our current time of cartoons, since everybody only wants slapstick. [SPOILER FOR THE ENDING] One of the best things about it though was how each single track had a lesson to them. Challenges are supposed to teach one skills for the future, and this series did that the best. Some memorable examples I could say is how the Cave realm is for low light racing, the Swamp realm teaches you to drive in the center line (This actually a good lesson because of traction gained from previous vehicles), The Lightning realm that taught you to keep your eyes on the road, the Scrap realm was for driving the straightest line through turns, just so much that was involved that I really liked. I am glad how it did end with Vert Wheeler becoming an Acceleracer through these lessons in the final race, but the cliffhanger never being answered always did leave a bad taste in my mouth. They did kinda try to tie up that loose end in Hotwheels Battle Force 5, but it always did seem uneventful. Meh, it's not like anybody is really going to read this garbage about a show that has become obsolete in this generation and a lost treasure. I just feel like it was the best embodiment of the brand. I guess nobody wants a story anymore, just short things to listen to while gaming

I didn't know Battle Force 5 had an Acceleracers episode honestly, wish I knew which one it was. And I wish we got more for the ending as well. Maybe even a round 2 of the Ultimate Race after every single realm is explored, with another racer or more becoming an Accelerator as well if possible.

I miss this show so much still, even at 20 years old, and I really wish they didn't leave it on a cliffhanger... whoever made Battle Force 5 could've easily finished Acceleacers. Im surprise no one has ever thought of making HotWheels Acceleracers a game.Like do you know how epic it would be.You get to choose 4 roles.Teko,Maniacs,Drones or The Silencers.You have 10 mins to finish the race(technically it should be 1 hour but we know we aren't gonna spend so long in a race.)You can tackle anyone else other than your team and once the 10 mins is over your stuck in the race forever or simply put it DNF.It would be even more badass if you get the gadgets for certain roles.The ability to float for Teko,The ability to sheild your car for Maniacs,The ability to shoot at other cars for Drones and the ability to change into anyones car for The Silencers.It would even be MORE BADASS if you could buy the sweeper with it having everything it can do in the movie.AND lets not forget about the Wheel of Power.Would be epic as well if they same maps that were in both movies/seasons(i forgot whether it was a series or a movie) with all the monsters and things that were on the race track.Eg : Ice,Water,Lava,Sticky tracks,etc.After all the Wheel of Power was made to teach drivers how to drive properly.So it would be cool if it did the same in the game.

Monkeys speedometer came off because the car was being pushed faster than its top speed. The stress on the dial and screw just popped it. But to address the OP, 300mph is only 482kmh. Top fuel dragsters reach those speeds a lot. There is always going to be a possibility of an engine blowing with that much power, but the bigger danger isn't reaching that speed, its how long you maintain it for. They aren't invincible, as energy blasts from drone cars can destroy them, and as we see in several realms, the biggest crashes can wreck them. But apart from that they are very strong. Combine that with the knowledge that the cars don't reach 300mph by themselves, but with the use of boost devices and Nitrous, which only provide limited boost, you can safely assume that they are strong enough to handle it for a few seconds every now and again. Something like Taro's run through the water realm would be incredibly taxing on the car, and it would likely require the engine to be rebuilt, but the car could survive.
