@@theoneandonly1277 Rimac is also heavy as hell, at 4,299 lbs stock. I have a Corvette C8 tune that runs at 7.8 seconds on the 1/4 mile, using AWD and a Twin Turbo Lambo V12 swap outputting 1,515 hrsprs. Less power sure, but also 1,200 lbs lighter.

By having the second gear there the rimac is able to hit higher top speeds and be more efficient by putting its power down to the ground better. Do you notice how a tesla model s p100d and a porsche taycan turbo s are about as fast as each other off the line but the taycan is faster in the top end? That's because the taycan has a second gear.
