@@fartloudYT, you can't always expect developers to release a balanced game content from the get go. There are things that the developers thought was balanced is not actually balanced at all. A few example of this similar case are DOTA 2, League of Legends, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. At some point in the lifespan of those games, they added new contents which straight up broke the balance. No games are safe from unbalanced new contents. That's where player feedback, like this video, comes in to play. Players are the one who get affected directly are supposed to give their opinions wether the content in the game are balanced or not. If the content is too weak or underwhelming, the developers can either leave it as is or give a buff to make the said content compete against others. The opposite also applies to OP content to make the content more inline with other contents so it's not outright breaking the competition. After the patch or update was provided, the cycle of player feedbacks and developers update starts again.

The Shelby Cobra 427 is B700 stock. The Shelby Daytona has the same hp and weight but is B645 stock. I don't understand how can the developers justify that. And of course we all know the Daytona is op in A and B class.

Another ones like that, check the Plymouth Cuda classic & convertible, and the same for the Honda NSX-R/NSX-R GT. The PI system made the force of Forza franchise, & today its totally broken. Theres op cars like Johnson shows us, but also the same in the opposite, trash tier cars. I dont think i'm the only who had hard times with this week forzathon challenge. With the Mercedes racing truck in B700 or A800 it was impossible to win a street race without putting ai in beginner whereas im used to play in unbeatable.

Actually, the Cobra 427 has 425hp, and weighs 2,350lbs But the Daytona has 390hp, and weighs 2,300lbs So it makes sense for the Daytona to be a lower class

For now they should increase stock PI of those op cars and after that start thinking about ways PI can be revised. It can take way to long, and without any quick fixes, those cars will make to much damage to amount of people playing the game.

Sebastian Wilczyński I miss the R1, R2, and R3 etc from Forza Horizon 1, the cars were much more balanced. The S1 and S2 system has always sucked because all cars are squashed in together plus I hate in FH4 that you can put F50 GT engine swaps in literally dozens of cars.

Sebastian Wilczyński See that wasn’t an issue at all in FH1 because the online system involved public custom searchable lobbies. Back when everyone played it usually the host would pick an event and cycle through car classes, and there were plenty to choose from. They would start off with E and work their way up to R1 for an example. You could even create your own public lobby and adjust everything you saw fit including event, difficulty settings car class etc. Removing custom lobbies and replacing it with adventure modes was the worst decision the developers made, the online has literally gone so far back in the Horizon series it’s ridiculous.

I've been doing rivals and many of the racers in your videos are who im going up against now. I won't even attempt to use the Monico cause its by far the fastest S1 car with ridiculous handling.. Nothing and I mean NOTHING can compete with it. The only option I see is removing the car or removing the traction control option for that car. On a side note you need to check out the Ferrari 250GT. 750 hp at 2200 lbs and fully tunable I'm S1 class... I'm in the top 50 60 with it on a couple rival tracks which isn't to bad for someone who's only been playing the game for 3 months lol. The car handles well above its rating. My favorite is still the Ford gt350. Its not the fastest but it's definitely one of the easiest to drive. Video Idea: I have been wanting to do a racing concept similar to Nascar but where everyone uses identical cars. Identical upgrades, your own tune. This way there's no OP cars. Its simply each drivers tuning and driving ability against the others. I think that would be a awesome video. Run 10 lap circuit races. Identical cars.

The PI system as a concept is great. The ability to race different kinds of cars and builds against each other always has been a selling point of Forza. The implementation of the PI system in FH4 sucks, though (and sucked majorly in the previous FH game as well). The implementation in motorsport games seems a lot better, albeit still far for perfect. I wish they would just nerf/recalculate the PI for the really op cars as a bandaid. Take the 10 most OP cars for every class, tone them down a bit and you get much more reasonable racing. Sure, some other cars will take their place as the best for their class, but by reducing the power level of the best cars they bring the best much closer to the average/mediocre car. That would make running such cars much more viable than it is now. In the long run they should just take a hard look at the formulas/simulations they use to calculate the PI of cars, since clearly in the Horizon series games the formulas keep introducing imbalanced cars.

I feel like revising the PI system entirely right now will risk breaking the game completely. What I think should be done for now is to nerf the car specifically by increasing the PI value for specific cars. That's all I can think about tbh.

@@pineappleracing6547 That's exactly the problem imo. AI in Forza can be bs. Like, any of the AI can suddenly out accelerate you and out brakes you. Not sure, it's probably my bad driving or tune. Either way, car should be tested by competent drivers in the game instead of AI since they'll know which cars are powerful, underpowered, or straight up destroying the competition. And yes, it's also flawed considering the amount of cars in Forza by no mean are small which will take a long time. I'm not sure which testing method is better, but I'm siding on player tester more than AI tester.

TBF it looks like instead of nerfing the car itself, they should nerf the TC. What I would like to see is the telemetry data of this car, with and without traction control through corners. How much power does it have to "drop" in the corners that it can actually stay on track? I think they should reduce the strength of the TC a fair bit, either make it some millisecs slower to react, or reduce how much it can handle, because this is ridiculous. This car should have no corner speed at all. (EDIT: Or maybe split the leaderboards for driving aids as well? (maybe only for ABS/TCS though, not transmission) That way, ridiculous cars like this (S2-class power/accel, A-class handling) don't clutter up the "good" leaderboards.

Part of the reason it's OP is the PI system assumes you drive automatic, and the gearbox in this tune is shit. Shifts should take like 1 second, but they don't if you drive manual. It's more a problem with manual shifting being broken than the PI system being bad.

@@Jeddix ups hab ich übersehen :) in horizon noch nie, weil horizon eh kein ernst zu nehmendes spiel ist und es den entwicklern "egal" ist. horion 1 war das beste beispiel bei den straßenrennen mit den total überpowerden autos und den ganzen glitches für die bestzeiten. z.b der plymouth cuda in der b klasse der knapp 360 ging und auf den meisten strecken fahrbar war. hat aber nie einen interessiert. gefixt wurden letztendlich nur die glitches für die bestzeiten, aber die bestenlisten wurden nie aussortiert.

The thing also with AWD swaps, you're also swapping the transmission so there 'might' be some cases where you downgrade your transmission. But yeah in a game where your finishing gap can come down to the difference in your starting position, and how easy it is to block people when in front. You're most likely to win agaisnt even drivers if you get the better start position or launch.

They won’t fix it though, in Horizon 2 the turbo upgrades on the Mitsubishi Evo X didn’t give power increases but increased turbo lag and weight and was never fixed, there have been glaring issues in previous forza games which still get exploited, and cars that are so OP and we’re never addressed and returning in multiple forza titles still OP, there was a conspiracy theory in Forza Horizon 1 them at the (incorrectly named) Ferrari 250 GTO was only the most expensive car in the game because the devs realised the car was broke as hell being able to access so many glitch spots that’s the only reason it cost 10,000,000 credits... I’m not holding out a lot of hope for anything getting fixed unless it’s the Forza Horizon 3 widebody glitch that allowed you to change the bumpers because “LiCeNcInG fUcKeRy” of course.

They still have to fix the dam sound lag issue thats been happening in forzas since horizon 2, or motorsport 5 carried al lthe way through the xbox ones life cycle and we still get sound cut off from the car in fh4 i would even go as far as saying that the sounds cut more then the previous entries, which means they just made the problem worse
