It's a good sound, but they copied the same GT3 sound they've used for the previous gen R and RSR. I don't know if that's how the real cars are like, but it kinda takes away from the feeling that this isn’t just another gt3 porsche.

Try this car in Asseto Corsa Competizione and then you will realize that the sound is very unrealistic.

@@rabbanifarrell8625 The 991.2 gt3 r is literally the best sounding car ever made IMO. It's really too bad that not a single game or sim got that right. Yet. I really have good hopes for AC3.

“Insane sound”. Looks like you’ve never heard the car in person, which in person, very much does not sound like this at all. What bothers me so much as a sports car racing fan, let alone Porsche fan is the fact that they got this engine entirely wrong. This is what the 911 RSR ideally sounded like (with the side exhaust option Porsche made in 2017). The 992 GT3 R and 991.1 GT3 R DO NOT sound like this at all. Look up the sound of the GT3 R. It sounds more flat 6 than anything. Playground games must be noted of this because it really sets me off. The least we can do is swap it with another flat 6. I came off quite stern, but it’s embarrassing to the racing community to be honest, let alone car sounds these days just are copy pasted without effort. On a positive note, at least we have the car which I love very much.

while it certainly does sound particular this is really not the right sound, the GT3 R irl sounds like a straight piped road going GT3/RS, this doesn't. Just lazy from Turn10 tbh
