So finally we got a decent performing Nissan R35 GT-R! Still too heavy tho Edit: Someone pointed out about the flywheel upgrade for this and I have updated the tune. So don't download this tune, download the other one. 729 372 407 Edit2: Just realised this video is on 1080p 😅

In Horizon 3 it’s actually pretty decent, using stock transmission you can cram over 800 HP out of it, and by applying race brakes it can take off an additional 80 pounds of weight (total: 3250 lbs) and coupled with good handling and a good drag coefficient makes it a force to be reckoned with

​@@SpherzJust 2 small issues: 1 - FH3 and FH5 probably have a different PI Pointing calculation ), so they might not perform the same with the same tune in different games. 2 - That's the GT-R Nismo, not the 2009 or Black Series or any other GT-R that came from FH3 to FH4 to FH5, so it definitely ain't the same

It wasn't really a boat in ProStreet, you just had to tune the suspension properly and it was a pretty nimble car that could change direction fast. One of the best Grip cars in the game.

Is this a PT2 Video on the Nismo R35? I feel like I'm having major deja vu with this one and have seen you drive the car before unless I'm thinking of the 2012 R35 which also gets a Widebody. Pretty fun though to have the chunky lad be decently quick for once, I'm glad this one gets such a nice Varis Widebody as well because it's a good change of pace from Liberty Walk and Rocket Bunny.

I use a tune for the r35 made by Zookiiwi. It is a CC tune but i feel like for open racing you can run it on dirt and even road like street or sprint. On road it feels like a powerbuild in term of handleling and power but 4wd. Anyway, enjoy the car if you want to use it

I prefer R35 with no widebody but with forza aero, it is not bad. BTW purist version also usable and has too high top speed (420km/h) because too low drag.

I noticed the following while playing Forza Horizon 5 The heavier the car, the more grip the tires can maximize, and as a result, acceleration, deceleration, and curves can be done easily even with a heavier weight. This is especially true as vehicle speed increases (note that this is different from that caused by increased downforce). Conversely, a car that is too light can now only demonstrate its capability during 0-100 acceleration, and curving capability is sometimes demonstrated better by a heavier car. This is interesting because it is the opposite of the "light is great" principle, as in Forza Horizon 4, and at the same time suggests that there may be such a thing as "the right weight" for a car. But I have not found that formula. Does anyone know the formula for that calculation?

Racing games need to evolve and get new modifications system that actually allow players to make any car competitive. I mean I just watched the GMC Syclone video and there is something fundamentally wrong in the game if that truck is one of the best A class to use. That's an annoying thing for me in racing games. Some cars are OP and the meta tunes (obviously refering to games with tuning) ruin the game. People start to use the same car every race, and if you want to use a car you like, and be competitive, you just can't. You can't even make the car looks as you want, since visual parts also affect performance. I tend to try to forget about those things, but come on, sometimes on Horizon you lose like 5 seconds per lap in a lap of 1:30, it's just unbearable.

@@FrozenIceSort of yes. Since these days both of these get thrown around a lot and slapped onto every vehicle, regardless of if it is actually true or not it kinda blurs the line. Not only that but there are AWD systems that behave more like 4WD and vice verca. YOu aren'T wrong it's just these days it usually doesn't make a difference, but especially not in Forza.
