As a die-hard Forza fan since FM3, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with how this game turned out. When this trailer first dropped, it was the most hyped I'd been for a Forza title since FH3. I genuinely couldn't believe what I was seeing. I pre-ordered the Premium Edition so I could get all the DLC, and when the game came out, I played the hell out of it for the first 2 weeks. I thought to myself 'Microsoft/PG have done a fantastic job.' But then my opinion gradually started to change, as I began to stop playing the game frequently. Firstly, this game almost feels like it's too easy. Rather than having a progression system akin to FH1/2 where you start from the bottom and work your way up to get the best stuff, you're just given everything. There's no grind, there's no incentive to play properly to get better stuff. It's the same with FH4, and was kinda the same for FH3 in some ways (although FH3 is goated so that's an exception). Secondly, there's a lack of content that we want as players. I know that sourcing cars is tricky, and that adding some features is difficult, but it almost feels like PG are ignoring us. They've removed features that people liked, and added some things which we don't like. The fact that we've also had zero information on Expansion One is also worrying, because in other Forza Horizon titles, we'd have AT LEAST had the first expansion by now. The thing is, people aren't complaining for the sake of complaining here. People are complaining because we love Forza, and we want it to be the best game that it can be, and at the moment, it isn't. PG, if you see this, please take some time to make the game better. Ask your community what they would like from the game, take feedback from them. Ik this was a long comment, but it's an honest one. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for PG and T10 and XGS as developers, but this game fell way short of my expectations, and really needs improving.

I have an idea for a mode i call Creator Mode. In this mode you can pick the weather, trafiic, season, time of day and lock it permanently for the duration of the gameplay. So say you set it to midnight, thunderstorm in the spring you would drive around for hours and it never changes. Also the mode allows you access to photo mode and even has a replay system so content creators can focus on getting that perfect shot they want at any time. This was achievable before using custom races but you had to drive away from the track and the weather, sunsets and such expire after some time so it would usually take several attempts to get all of your shots. This mode could even allow the placement for props much like Horizon super 7, then you could share your worlds if you would like for others to use as well.

I am an owner of both horizons 3,4. There are 5 key areas that should be refined in horizon 5. 1: Simple setting to disable drivatars so that entire road parameters and maximum net power could be used. Drivatars are constantly very annoying if you try to test vehicles setup when finding the minimum apex speeds and you can not have constant progress due to drivatars driving towards you in the wrong lane and crashing constantly, creating a very tedious unenjoyable gaming experience 2: There should be a simulation mode especially for making the transition rates in grip levels more realistic. For example, i would have wanted to play in winter season constantly in horizon 4 since grip levels became more realistic thus the vehicle's chassis geometry became adjustable throughout the corners and the actual quality of the vehicle data that Forza has actually measured on many of the game's vehicles became more apparent. 3. BRING BACK ALL TIRE SECTIONS IN EACH VEHICLE. For example, there is no point in having a mildly tuned 700 kg Alfa Romeo Giulia if the tire section jumps from 165 to 185 and then to 215 and this request without exceptions applies to all of the models. For example, the width of the tire actually manipulates how much pressure the tire generates, and in the case of older vehicles with greater chassis flex the wider generates smaller pressure by having a bigger contact area so a very wide tire usually creates less force between the tires side to side on an axle since the progressive grip force throughout the corner is achieved by the distance between the tires that create additional force through an effectively wider tire spacing by having the narrower tires which create a milder departure rate of the tire when the grip os lost and lets the suspension be tuned with greater precision for driving on a bigger variety of surfaces due to the eventual increase of suspension stability creating a wider operating damping window. Combine that aspect with the limited availability of tire sections with my second point of unrealistically high grip levels and this net result in the previous horizon game compromised vehicles transition between understeer and oversteer due to the lack of tire choice and high grip levels. In conclusion, Regular Forza 4 physics for hardcore racing fanatics should be available. 4. A greater optimization for the weather. When I create a very high corner grip machine as I mentioned before the actual operating window on different gets increasingly narrower, so I would like to have weather optimization before i enter the race with a vehicle that might need lots and lots of progressive testing and driver data before other variables such as constantly changing weather ruins the comparison tests of a tuned vehicle by constantly changing GRIP LEVELS just for fun. 5. Simulation option for steering on Xbox controllers. Due to the arcade nature of the game, I can understand that most of the players most of all want to enjoy horizon franchise epic graphics but since horizon 2 and Forza Motorsport 4 which had simulation steering option creating a more natural and direct behavior the steering characteristics in Horizon 4, however, feel like they have been left on assisted steering and I am sure the everso increasing number of sim drivers would appreciate the option of having more realistic steering feedback in Forza horizon 5. Thank you.

​@@redbullsauberpetronas No, It's good upgrade. There's no moving skybox, storm, huge volcano, 3x rock and grass density, that water falling on car at 1:01. In 4 they used various lightning tricks to make it look good. In 4, If you stop car and look far up trees are 2D (depends on settings you're playing) while you can see detailed bushes and trees even rocks from kms away
