Forza Horizon 5 - Return Of The Jelly Car

So here are some kinda spoilers, but is a needed explanation so wait until after watching the video to read this The reason the three of us were so much faster and consistent is that we were running sim steering. While we don't know why it makes the jelly cars easier to drive it, it is a significant difference. We had no idea going into this that it would be a problem as it has never been something we came across on previous games. Either way we shall have to be revisited with everyone driving on normal steering as that makes the vehicles even harder to drive

Was TmDc HypeR driving on sim or normal steering? In the first race when I saw the times i was like how the f* did he go 2s faster.. and on the second race when i saw him on 2 wheels I said to my sefl: ok now i get it.

I think I created an anti-jelly car when i attempted to build the Reliant for drag racing, and it somehow ended up extremely stable. There's so much understeer, but it refuses to tip over.

The funny thing is, the Reliant with the training wheels falls over quite easily, while the stock one is as stable as can be. I think they may have mixed up the physics files, there. :P

The unimog can also do something like this, though it's a bit more stable while up on two wheels. I have a sample tune here: 149 535 390 , but honestly all you really need to do is set all the suspension settings to maximum softness.

I remember making a car that made it almost impossible to reach 100 mph... it just would not go straight and had jellymatic suspension too so the weird snap turns it makes on its own can throw you onto your roof. Was fun trying to get it up to 100... I managed it... once.

I would love to join races like these. Trying to find cool people to race with is difficult, time zones are a huge issue (there's about a 7 hour difference between where I live in the US and in certain places in the UK). It might help me if I join a club, I haven't done that before.

Hey, so I found out completely by accident another way you can do this. Under normal circumstances, the reliant supervan won't roll because of the 'Forza force' that you mentioned, however, contradictory to what you might expect, if you attach the stabiliser body kit to the reliant supervan, it actually becomes LESS STABLE and is therefore able to roll, quite easily in fact.

I think the "Forza Force" is nearly gone here. I have found a few vehicles that will fall over with nearly zero effort. None of them required any special tuning for it. I even tried to stiffen them up or just slide through the turns. Even spinning the wheels mid slide they still topple.

FailRace: Mixed results with good cars, master at jelly racing. Oh, the Unimog with rally tires, rally suspension and the best engine is also a great two wheeler. I discovered that by accident.

When I was modding wreckfest in 2018-19 regularly, I ended up making slick tire mods because my power and handling profiles were so insane that I had to mod in more grip. It took me quite the while to iron out the super jelly cars that had between 900-2700hp and could still get around the track with realistic handling as wreckfest's physics loved to violently and reliably roll cars; the taller the vehicle, the more ridiculous the effect. Add: I saw the back of the Toyo hiking up and remembered when I was developing race brakes for WF also. It's stupid funny to watch the bus do an endo after doing 268mph on the circle tracks, flying through the air like it was swatted by the hand of God. Very annoying to get just right adjustment by adjustment. Hundreds of hours...

The off-road vw bug - with stock in the name - will do it no problem with the stock settings on the off-road suspension and any tyre. In fact whenever you race any bug off-road the ai will roll them in front of you. On dirt. In the dry.
