This so much. I have a 13900/4090 stupid build and KZbin videos don't come even remotely close to capturing it. The only way to understand how god tier the new gen is is to just see it. It cracks me up when I'm on forums seeing people that have no clue talking about how it's overkill and makes no difference... yeah, if you're watching it on KZbin. On a 77 oled at 120fps in 4k with full ultra everything though? Holy shit. Flight Simulator in particular is hard to understand how it's even possible.

I'm maxing my 4k 144hz monitor 144fps with 10700k 4090 with dips of 120fps. Only difference is MSAA x2 instead of x8. Hope this helps people wanting to play this in 4k. Looks incredible.

@@billygovaert6198 Thats very subjective of course and I like simulations like Assetto Corsa or Dirt2 but I had a lot of fun with Wreckfest. It has good physics and its just fun to play, have you tried it? Also BeamNG drive is very funny too and its popularity seems to explode recently.

@@billygovaert6198 Wreckfest can be played easily with a controller. You cant do anything wrong with this game, its pure fun. Graphics are pretty good and damage physics on the car are some of the best. The other games should be played with a wheel tho

Why is everyone saying that this is a bottleneck ? He has MSI Afterburner running in the background, you can see his GPU load is 98%, there isn't any bottleneck here. How can it be a bottleneck if the GPU runs in full load ? There isn't any. It would have been a bottleneck if he was playing with the frames unlocked and the load of the GPU would have been 60-70%, that is a bottleneck. He is playing with maximum settings and 8x MSAA. The user saying he is playing on a laptop with 3080 ti and gets the same frames, my friend, you're not playing 4k with 8x MSAA and everything maxed.

I am getting the same average fps but around 78 fps 1% lows with a ryzen 7 7800x3d and rx 7900xt using exactly the same graphics settings and playing at 4k. I'm wondering if the 4090 should produce more fps than that?

hes bottlenecked by the 12600k and ddr4. if it was a 13600k and ddr5 it would be about 20-30% faster.

Honestly, there'd be very little benefit. 4K with Ray Tracing has the GPU maxed out continuously. The CPU is not the bottleneck in this scenario.

With 4k gaming the GPU does pretty much all the work. Unless you are doing strategy games or games like Cities Skylines that have lots of things going on at the same time. Upgrading the CPU for this game wont do anything.

I know perfectly well that upgrading his cpu to a i9 13th gen would probably only increase around 15 fps most of the time which may be too small of a change, but it is there, and it is still a difference, and it is always good watching the best gpu perform together with the best cpu
