@@cheean5161 The irl reasoning behind most Supras was for it to be touring car (something that has decent performance but was mainly meant for cruising. Something like an Aston Martin, or a Dodge Charger). While of corse sure, it has a crap ton of potential for mods, the same argument of “the reasoning behind x car is tuning” could be used for so many other cars it’s not even funny. We could use it for those super cheap R/T mopars that could make 650HP on stock internals, we could use it for Coyote powered Mustangs that people even daily drive when they’re pushing near 1000HP, we could use it for BMW 335is that can easily push 500HP with just a few mods (albeit unreliably, but still capable). And hell, we can even use it for the supercars, and hypercar you say the Supra can “kill” too. Haven’t you seen those drag ready Lamborghini Hurcans with no rear bumper to fit their turbos doing wheelies at the drag strip and destroying people at Texas 2K? Or the 3300HP Calvo Viper on the KZbin channel 1320Videos that went from 60-140MPH in less than 6 seconds? You could use that same argument for pretty much almost any performance car ever made, and it still really won’t matter because almost every other performance car has tuning in mind as well. Even Bugatti’s irl have been tuned before to make more horsepower from stock. My point is modded vs stock doesn’t matter because really, it’s just someone’s hard work + the product of the company that created the car and engine vs the product of another company that made the car and engine but without someone’s hard work put into it. It’s an unfair advantage because the company creating the car and engine have to abide by government regulations on safety, emissions standards, and a whole lot of other regulations, while also making it in a price range fair enough that people would consider buying it. The guy tuning it into some sort of race car either doesn’t care about those laws, or is subject to a different set of laws that don’t require the car he’s purchased to follow the same rules as automakers have to when creating the car, and usually doesn’t care about making something he’s going to sell to increase the power and wealth of his business. At the end of the day, it’s really just an unfair advantage as you see, therefore it dosen’t really matter if a modded car could beat a stock car. If it can, cool, good job to the guy that built it, it only shows how far he’s come instead of how good of a product the manufacturer as put out compared to its competition which is an indicator of what you should buy. (unless you’re arguing about which is the better platform for tuning, but then you’d need a modded version of the other car to start that argument) So stock vs modded really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things

I think those are some classification of Hyper cars and Japanese Domestic Market cars, like these Hyper are built different base perform like beasts far greater than average sport cars, meanwhile JDM are just simple sport cars and actually not built for that high hyper level, my point is any upgrades onto JDM cars should not be able beat the Hyper class, but Supra is a Legendary sport car like the blend of Liability and high performance....

Look I love the supra as much as the next guy but 90% of those cars are Corning machines not 2k hp drag monsters leave the supra on a TT set up built 1100hp most of those cars would stand a chance Lamborghini huracan pfe would win all day at 1100 hp lighter mid engine same tire size etc Lamborghini would win and even at that most those cars are stock tf you think gonna happen when on average ever car used here was 900hp lower then the supra most super cars have 500 to 700 more hp then the average car the supra is just compensation for lack of ability to tune which is obvious by the fact you have wide body with a wing on race suspension and probably race tires tip for further use of supra in drags Rwd no wide body rally springs fully build the engine but leave oil cooling and the inter cooler alone the 2 right before the flywheel they add more wait then power and in a drag car adding useless weight over the front tires isnt needed you want the weight to transfer to the real wheels
