This is great! I'm working on it right now to perform in October and this is truly inspirational - especially from a musical standpoint. It's easy to play this with bravado but at the moment, the delicacy of the piece is completely missing. This performance inspires me to think more about that. Thank you!!!!

We don’t care about watching the piano while the cello is doing something more interesting, please. Excellent performance!

The piano is not an accompaniment. Both are doing interesting things throughout. Agreed, excellent performance. Bravo.

@@BarryMagrew I understand that the piano is a meaningful participant and not just outlining chords while the cello does all the work. However, the camera should be on the cellist when the cello is doing something physically interesting. The camera operator has the option of focusing the camera where the the musical interest is, or where the technical interest lies. Usually, but not always, they are one and the same, but the camera work here was neither. It appeared to be random, and when the cellist was doing something of interest, the camera was frequently on the piano. That’s an incredibly common problem with Music Videos here. The person running the camera should read a score, determine before hand where the visual interest is greatest, and film accordingly.
