I’m not even two minutes in and I can already tell that there are situations very similar to this. My foster parents were bad, absolutely despicable, terrible people. But none of them were as bad as her. My foster parents just use me for money. They got extra money because I have a disability. The first one use that money to send her daughter to Dubai for months at a time and buy herself fancy pajamas. She never even took me to the arcade, out to eat, or anywhere. There was only one time I can remember her getting me Taco Bell but that’s because it was 9 o’clock at night and she was bringing her daughter home from the airport from guess where? Dubai. I have so many stories I can make over 1000 comments and it wouldn’t even scratch the surface. I’m really grateful that you guys are spreading awareness about foster care. Not all foster parents are bad, but lots of them are.

Familial genetics come together in unexpected ways. My Dad’s mother passed away in 1948(?). I was born in 1954. The Gramma I knew was my Dad’s stepmother. I loved her dearly. I had always wondered what Dad’s Mom looked like. One day I asked Dad “I knew that your Dad’s eye color was blue. What color was your Mom’s” He said, “Green like mine, and yours.” All 4 of my children have green eyes. I had also wondered what Dad’s Mom looked like. After our parents passed, my siblings and I found a treasure trove of family photos. One was very special: Dad’s Mom at about age 17. I took a picture of her photo with my cell phone. And zoomed into her face……… my oldest and youngest daughters bear a striking resemblance to the Gramma I didn’t get to know.

I enjoyed the video, really awesome story the end made me burst out in tears, 😂 I have a lot of family all over the world that I don't know, but I'm going on 68, no money, no energy. Raised 3 kids all by myself, worked hard all my life etc etc My parents were political refugees from a former European communist country. They should've kept track of all their families names and whereabouts for me and my siblings but they didn't My mom was sick and my dad was killing himself working.. Then remarried and only cared about himself and his new wife. I guess I'll let my 3 adult sons figure it out someday if they are interested, but nowadays times are tough and everyone's just doing there best to survive, kids to raise, etc etc. Take care everyone 🌈☀️💜
