The main members of Foster The People are Mark Foster, Cubbie Fink, and Mark Pontius. The other two guys are the touring musicians. They usually will not perform on acoustic sessions or radio station gigs. This band primarily focuses on those 3 members: Foster, Fink, Pontius. They are the founders of Foster The People.

@Caspianor There are only 3 members, in the studio and in the writing process. The other members only tour with them. Actually lots of bands do this ( usually ones with less people). For instance Green Day has done it for awhile. It's actually a really good thing, it makes it sound more clean and just over-all better with the live shows.
