🎩🌿 FOUGERE ROYALE EDP by HOUBIGANT Review | MASCULINE Cologne for MEN | The FIRST Fougere Fragrance

Taking a look at a 2010 re-release of an 1800's classic, the very first fougere every, Fougere Royale, from Houbigant. Perfumer is Rodrigo Flores Roux and the composition is mostly a brisk geranium and green gentlemanly lavender combo with earthy patchouli, herbal oakmass and clary sage, with spicy carnation and cinnamon, floral rose and chamomile and sweet coumarin or tonka bean extract.
I forgot to mention in the video, but the coming together of the aromatic, spicy, floral, and sweet accords here also give me a sensation of bitter plant based alcohol sugars. Such as xylitol and stevia!
This fragrance launched the fougere genre and this re-imagining of it is absolutely stunning!
