As someone who used to fly 500k miles per year, with Japan as a regularly visited country, getting more than one flight per day from LAX to any country out of the Americas is nearly impossible. Three per day is insanity! The thing to watch for the Ohtani effect is if the flights go down to one per day during the off season.

I think the Shohei signing and hype is being overlooked in terms of Mookie Betts' scorching start. The man has been one of the top 5 players in the game the last several years, and has a great deal of pride. Shohei showing up, on his team, getting all the hype and attention, I'm sure Mookie was determined not to be outshone by his new teammate. I mean that in a positive sense, not in terms of resentment. Knowing Shohei would be right there in the order with him, and they'd be compared every single night, I'm sure lit a fire under him and his competitiveness.

Love the show. If I caught the ball, I would love a photo with Shohei and the ball, a signed bat or jersey and a suite for a home game. Sure I could make some money, but that ball might make it into the HOF for Shohei someday. It means more to him than me.

Dodgers have a lot of international signing money compared to the rest of the teams. If Roki Sasaki chooses to come next offseason, Dodgers not competing with anyone in terms of how much they can give him lmao.

I think Dodgers have around 3.5 mil to use, and that's way more what than the closest team has. If Sasaki wants to come and I know Friedman wants him, he's a Dodger next year lol.

Apparently thats not what she asked for. She wanted to keep the ball but they wouldn’t authenticate it for her. Then she asked to meet him and they told her that wasn’t possible. All they offered her was the two hats, a ball, and a bat and gave her 5 minutes to decide. Honestly expected better from this organization. Would love your guys take on this
