thanks extreme medium! definetely a rare and crazy find! i did not come across any old sealed mtg on my toy hunts in quite a while. everybody has some lego or old action figures in their house, but magic seems to be cherry picked completely. crazy, crazy day!! 😁👊🏻

@@NerdAndProudOfIt I'm lucky. I started buying random lots of cards on eBay back in the early 2000s to complete my sets. Paused for a few years as life changed, then picked it back up. I remember one lot had 4 revised duals for $50. Another $50 lot I pulled 2 cradles. Much easier to find good deals back then. I just paid $80 for a very nice Humility at my LGS. The times have changed. 😂

hey, i found some interesting stuff in the early 2000’s at flea markets, before the time everything was checked online. it got less and less and i have not seen any old sealed magic product at yard sales, estate sales or flea markets in years. crazy!! 😁👊🏻

Hi Jürgen, how went your idea with the cradle vs. The Dark complete set. If you sell these maybe you can almost buy the other one. I still would suggest for you as a content creator to buy the dark set. So have heaps of cards to show and talk about compared to just one cradle, which is very nice of course. And a complete set with resvered list cards, at least i think, will make more money in the end of the day and will be more rare in the future. Just one card is easy to find. Looking forward for your 1k subs so we can appreciate "your" Lotus. Also would be amazing to learn more about your gaming history and other fine collectables. We are all nerds and like this stuff.

hi peter! thanks so much for the detailed comment! appreciate it! yeah, i was tending towards the dark, but then an EX set was sold before i acted on it. then i was tending towards the cradle, but when i wanted to pull the trigger on that one, it was gone too 😂. then i was doubting about a GD the dark set, but i ended up buying alpha’s and antiquities instead. very happy with the alpha’s (video from last week), but the antiquities cards have not arrived yet, unfortunately, and it seems they are lost. but the focua ended up to be okd stuff 😁👊🏻. and yeah, what would you like to know? i worked in the video games industry for more than 20 years and i had a stop of a couple of years at a board and card game company, but i also do events and stuff, so i know some people 😂😂😜. haha. don t wanna go into too much detail, but you can always hit me up if you wanna know more. 👊🏻

Love that you found a Tempest starter, that's amazing! I went to the Tempest prerelease as a kid, back when it was a huge event with hundreds of people...and everyone was trying to pull Tradewind Riders haha. @@NerdAndProudOfIt Yeah, back then they had it in a big hotel ballroom / convention hall because so many people would come. It had a similar feel to the Cons/Magicfests these days (not quite that big though). It was a lot of fun.

@@NinjaNerdcraft ahh, i get it. it was kind of an official event at a venue. yeah, i guess the biggest one’s i have been to were the 1st four german championships and a bavarian championship (i won and qualified for one of the german nationals just mentioned). biggest tournament i have ever been to has been a yugioh tournament i organized in amsterdam with 1133 players (worked for the distributor) almost 20 years ago. it was the biggest tcg tournament ever for a long time. but then they held a bigger one in japan with 1200 players a few years back 😂. i think i still hold the record for europe, though. and events have more visitors, counting side events and such, but that was one big tournament. crazy times 😁👊🏻

hahaha tempest deck is about 450 euro alone;), my coolest find where two Mirage starters for 80 euro on marktplaats, I called the guy immediately and he said I could have them ,even though I informed him they were about a hundred a piece at the time. That was only 4 years ago;) I still have them.
