Bonnie you and Joel have done Outstanding job raising your Children. Most either expect something in return or they just do enough to get by! I raised mine to always think about others and what they could do to make things easier for them.. I have a big heart for the elderly and children. I just enjoy serving others.. I see all that in your children and they see it in you and Joel... I have the upmost respect for you guys.. I mean the life you made for your children they could be spoiled but they’re not they have big hearts and love serving others. When Olivia talks it’s you I see in her, when the boys talk it’s Joel, because when they see you that little grin Joel gives you the boys do it too.. I’ve never seen three boys like yours that just Cherishes their Mother like yours does.. You’re so Blessed Bonnie and it just makes my heart smile when I see the boys just love on their Mother.. That’s a Bonnie know one will ever break between you guys!!

I miss the simplicity of VHS, I miss going to blockbuster to pick out a video movie to watch at home, I just miss simpler times, now I spend like an hour looking on Netflix and it’s just sensory overload, I end up just turning off the tv and going to bed haha! Thanks for this little memory ☺️❤️

My sister is a firefighter and dryer vent fires are the start of a majority of their house fire calls. You can get a cleaning tool off Amazon for cheap and it’s super easy to use. Mine can be used with just the pole that it comes with or I can attach it to my power drill so it spins while it is going through then vent!

We all had the small tv vcr. All the kids loved it too! We had all the Disney movies. So nice of them to help the grandparents!

How sweet of the kids to go do chores for their grandparents. That had to be the highlight of the day for Joel's parents. Good job Olivia, Cody, and Boston. Watching VHS tapes, how cute. I have about 10 of my favorite ones still. I do not have cable, so back years ago, my son and his wife got gave me a new VHS/DVD player so I could watch my VHS and DVD's. It still works and I love it. I got rid of a lot of the VHS tapes, but have a ton of CD's.

If you have home video on VHS you can get it put on to disk to keep it safe. My dad had his cine film transferred, it is wonderful to watch.

I think it is so sweet your boys want to wear your rings. You actually should clean your dryer vents once a year. I know a few people who've had fires due to dryers. So funny the kids are talking about VHS, a friend posted yesterday her son found one and she had to explain it lol

My neighbor had a house fire back in 2010 ..it was a few days before Halloween...they lost EVERYTHING...it happened about 5 am...my husband and I was up ready for a morning walk...well by the time we got around..there were 4 fire trucks...thankfully no one was hurt!! They have 4 kids..the youngest one was 19 she lived at home because she had MS...The other kids were married.....there house was destroyed..a life time of memories... What caused the fire you ask...well it was from the Dryer..her vents were filled with junk... They lost so much but God watched out for the family...insurance company kept them in a nice hotel with breakfast..lunch and dinner...for an entire year...her home was rebuilt and almost one year later they were moving back in their new home...... This is a reminder to please check your vents!!!

When we moved into our house we detached the dryer vent next to the dryer and took a leaf blower and blew all the lint outside. It was horrifying. A whole garage can full of lint. 😮

Just be a tad careful with not taking the ring off. When I was in high school I had to take my ring off for a school performance and I wore it for so long that my finger grew around it and the ring had to be cut off...this was after many failed attempts to get it off and my finger swelled up and turned purple. Im still petrified to this day anytime a ring feels slightly snug..
