The Zac Efron lifeguard movie is Baywatch from 2017! Yup, they really have something for everyone in Japan when it comes to cafes from otters to owls...and Pokémon! The otters at the cafe are called Asian small-clawed otters, and they are the smallest otters in the world. Their status in the wild is currently Vulnerable (due to fur poaching, pet trade, and destruction of their habitat). Their range is from South India to western Java (they're not native to Japan).
