This organ was built in 1880 and was saved from a church that closed in 2020. It’s been at this station for about 2 years, with the modification that the blower has a 30 minute switch on it so someone can’t play for longer than that.

The London Bridge station pipe organ, popularly known as Henry, is a Victorian pipe organ located at London Bridge station in the United Kingdom. Built in 1880, it was moved to its current location for public use in 2022 by the "Pipe Up for Pipe Organs" charity project, which had recovered the organ from Christchurch in Whetstone, north London, after the church closed in 2020.

If it's where I think it is, the organ is located in a quiet part of the station so not many people walk through. It's like a corridor that runs parallel to the main concourse so people walk through the main concourse instead. They would hear it, but it wouldn't be clear where it was coming from unless you knew the organ was there.

It's like putting a painting on the side of a motorway and wondering why no one stops to gaze at it. People don't pass through London Bridge station for fun, they do it because it's between the place they were and the place they need to be. If you put this in Covent Garden then loads of people would stop and listen.

Slight change of topic, Vincent Price's horror film, Dr Phibes, has march of the war priest as the soundtrack, I went down a rabbit hole seeing who the organist was, he died about 5 years ago, even funnier was that he was caught up in some sort of parking lot shoot out about 10 years ago, it wasnt clear if thid old fella was trying to score crack or get sum ass, but it one of the funniest detours i've read.

A vapor?

I sat on the bench opposite and listened to young lady play only 10 days ago. And now I am back in Tennessee so going back is a long and expensive proposition.

Paul McCartney is a racist opportunist who stole music from oppressed black Americans and NEVER gave ANYTHING back to them. Soulless and pretentious is what he is. And that's exactly what his music sounds like.

I’m ready for more of this content. Go check out some amazing instruments in churches, baseball parks, etc. That’d be fun to watch. Maybe a second channel with full songs. I enjoyed this one
