Years ago, I was off to Glasgow for my studies. Living in a small room, in a dorm, I'd get just a bit sad sometimes and would play this mix every so often, while it rained outside, being the weather it was. Sometimes when I stopped playing, I would hear similar songs from the flat below mine. I once went to the smoking area of the building, and met a few cool strangers, one of them a girl who with good vibes. After talking for a while we got into the topic of music and quickly realised we lived in adjacent flats, hers being right below mine. She'd also heard my stuff, and I shared this same mix along with a few other albums that she'd liked through the floor/ceiling. One of my best memories from my years abroad. Thank you, Found Atlantis, for unknowingly connecting people and giving them something to calm the nerves to. :)

"My Neighbor Totoro" is a film of Hayao Miyazaki, a Japanese film director, who also directed Princess Mononoke, Spiritrd Away (oscar winner), Howl's Moving Castle and many others. I love all of his films, and Totoro is one of my favorites. Miyasaki is a great director.
