It was nice to see the Helena area again. That is where I grew up. My father was a physician, and rockhound in that area. I was supposed to be back there this summer, but with Covid I postponed the trip until probably next year. Nice video! It was very relaxing to watch.

The most valuable find of the day is that beautiful location! That does look similar to picture jasper. I miss the Kipster! Love the bluish stuff! The yellow flowers looks like goldenrod, and the purple looks like vervain, not sure tho. I mostly know California plants. Thank you for taking care of those who need it Alex, please stay safe!

I love jasper in all its various colorations (is that a word?) -- i.e., picasso jasper, landscape jasper, red jasper, etc. They are beautiful stones. I use them a lot in my jewelry making. I love the multiple colors in each stone that you get, along with the beautiful patterning. And what a lovely little stream you were in. So clear, and I love hearing the sound of it trickling along. The tall golden flowers are goldenrod. I've got some in my own garden, here in central Oklahoma. Could the stone at about 12:55 be chert? Just a ridiculously uneducated guess based on watching other rockhounders. Thanks for taking us along today. Good luck on your EMT testing! It takes very special, caring people to be EMTs. Take care.

Some really cool finds, Alex. There were some fantastic rocks you threw back into the creek. I was going, "No! Keep it! Cut it!I wanna see whats inside!" Lol! That very red one, I think you kept, looked very much like some poor creatures kidney perhaps, that had petrified. Be an interesting one to drill into and get a sample to test. : )

Some beautiful first in your new spot! The yellow flowers are goldenrod. It has medicinal properties. Those red berries are poisonous we have those here in Missouri and even the birds don't eat them. It is an invasive plant. Thank you for sharing and praying for an uneventful shift. Worked night shift for many years...not in hospital but know the feeling of foggy mind. Take care.
