it's so wild hearing Gregory's original voice. I'm so used to his English VA, like that voice is pretty much glued to my minds image of him. Both actors fit him and the giggle is perfect, so even if they sound supper different they're bit made for the character.

Despite being fanservice, it has the feeling of a sequel right after he tried to escape with Neko taunting him before waking up once more trapped at the hotel/inn. It’s like everyone was either cursed by him out of madness due to being unable to leave while having to deal with them. Or they somehow left the world and their spirits in the paintings.

No problem!! To address your question: I'm personally unsure about the ending myself. I believe he was able to escape, and the rat at the end was Gregory. However, it's all up for interpretation.
