My youngest brother an electrical engineer was an alcoholic. He was forced to quit drinking 2 years ago. He died this past Aug. 2018. In my opinion it is most difficult to watch a slow train wreck coming than to see someone die quickly. You took the path out of that darkness into your expression of life. As a young person I directed myself to art to deal with the injustices of a world I was taught is honest and just. It has saved my sanity numerous times. Every variation of life is normal. I am the abnormal thing.
