So who is Spartan-85? I'll start in the beginning. My earliest memories of playing video games was going with my grandma and my uncle (who had down syndrome) to the grocery store. In the back, they had a small arcade where my uncle and I would play games while my grandma shopped. We had so much fun playing games like Double Dragon,, Final Fight, Streets of Rage, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong, Mario, Galaga and so many others!
I got my very first console ever in the early 90's, the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES. I remember having to blow the dust out of the cartridges because I played them so much. My brother and I would play super mario brothers and dunk hunt for hours.
Fast forward through the ages, I have owned almost every console there is, the NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S and the Nintendo Switch. Gaming to me is a way to forget the world and to hang out with my friends. Some of my fondest memories were playing online in Halo 2, where we had clans, huge clan wars, and just had an amazing time.
I really got started watching youtube videos of creators playing video games while working midnights as a police officer. It kept me awake and passed the time between calls and reports. My first big inspirations that planted the idea of starting my own channel were, Markiplier, Lord Minion777, Unspeakable, Ninja and Glock9. I really enjoyed Markiplier's style and how he played a very wide variety of games. I enjoyed Lord Minions multiplayer series and comedy.
The two biggest inspirations that got me hooked into 7 Days to DIe and wanting to start my own channel playing 7 Days to DIe were Neebs Gaming and Glock9. The actual game, 7 Days to Die is what I decided I wanted to focus on because I felt it was a mix of two of my all time favorite games, Fallout and Minecraft. I literally one day googled games similar to Fallout and Minecraft and 7 Days to Die came up. I started buying equipment on Ebay and Amazon and the rest is history!!
Things that I try to stay true about are always stay humble, treat everyone with respect, know where you started and how hard you have worked to get here, set an example, help others when they need it, be a blessing to others, and when you don't know what to do or what will happen, Smile!
I would like to see the channel morph into a wide variety gaming channel eventually, but 7 Days to Die still holds my heart. I still love making tutorials, and especially 7 Days to Die tutorials The next big game on my radar that I am super excited about is probably Starfied.

Another nice video, good to see you updated as that indeed added the markers to the tutorial quests for berries and such as well as reducing the bleed chances a bit. As for food and drink, not much is completely safe to consume. The quality as well as your character skill determine how well you handle a disease roll from eating, it is also not instant, could see the food poisoning or dysentery pop up a bit later on after consuming something. You did it right on the food poisoning, the tea helps speed it up, reducing the time you suffer the bad from it. Dysentery is a bit different, it takes a while and you need to keep taking cures to keep it in the green, if not it will be fatal.

The challenge certainly ups the game, and that's what I like about Forsaken Trail and The Wasteland with the need to make careful choices. Looking good though as you work things out and see the best way forward. That's what really appeals for these streams with the unrehearsed and unscripted 'learn as you go along'.

Great video! The new update seems to have lessened bleed damage a bit (which was very much needed) The food poisoning /dysentery is really rough. I had it for 4 days running in a 7 day play through. I'd manage to get rid of it and it just kept coming back, all cooked foods and taking all the meds I could find. The tool/weapon degradation is really tough as well, 20 rounds through an M60 broke a weapon and my hoe broke about every 8 plots. It's really excessive and needs a lot more balance. The farming is really great, make a hoe and plant crops the old fashioned way (just keep fixing your hoe) . No farm plots needed unless you want to plant on a roof. 🙂 We really wanted to love this mod! But until some of these issues get balanced, we are just putting off playing it for awhile. I'm hopeful that things will get fixed soon. This mod really brings back what 7 days used to be.

Lol the tier 1 quest is found where more like tier 20 when you get 10 Zeds and you get on your knees and crawl away trying to reload your gun and after you get it loaded and you've gotten hit 20 times you're bleeding to death. So, then you gotta stop the bleed. And then you can kill three of the ten zombies that showed up great mod, though I do love it, but i'm struggling hard here maybe just a tad bit of tweaking on the tier one mods for us beginners

I don't think the quests are done in tiers the same way as vanilla. When you find a quest it will tell you the difficulty of it and it's based on the 7 days to die difficulty levels like scavenger, adventurer on up. So you can get a quest that would normally be for tier 4 or 5 right away. At least I think that is how it is because I got a horde quest that was a survival difficulty as one of the first quests I found, I died almost immediately.

LOL yeah, death simulator that was actually on point. Although this is a great mod, don't get me wrong with my last statement, I love it. It's the learning curve is is up there

for building blocks, you need blueprints (1 blueprint creation gets you 100 shapes). those placed blueprint shapes you need to construct with material (wood & ?nails? for wooden shapes, granit&mortar for granit shapes, etc.). However with a simple wooden hammer you cannot build past a certain level (i guess it was wooden shapes). it definetly adds a different level of complexity... lol. I'm on day 7 and just have discovered this... don't think, I'll survive the horde night... oh also: you need stamina for using the wooden hammer, so you cannot build 10 shapes in a row, without having a breather inbetween... ;) Good luck on your onwards journey!

There are tiers to crafting even food and drink and if ur shitty at cooking so magizen and skills super low the food and drinks won't work
