6" thick blinding for a one story how thick for two story. Or did I miss that part? I want to build a two storey house how tall should those initial ground pillars stand? Is there a guide? The blue tarp seems to be in the way, is it supposed to be a moisture barrier to the cement you just poured?

One thing a professional builder should think of, is the foundation at first ok. And that start with the depth of the foundation. As you can see it yourself that the depth of this foundation is 1.2 and this is just a bungalow. Your question might be why we make it that deep to 1.2mt. and the thickness of the blinding 6cm and so many re-enforcement pillars as you can see. if you listen to my first video on this foundation then you can hear me talking about knowing the size of a building and also calculating the total weight load even though the builder might not get the exert weight load but your calculation should draw you close to it. Also know the texture of the soil. This is all what a professional builder should consider before making a foundation and that’s exactly what we do. we dig it that deep and make the blinding so thick with good mixture of the concrete as what you can see, you can tell by the color of the concrete, if you fail to pay good attention to this things the building is going to have lots of problems in the future. We don’t think about just today when we are building but we also think about the future. For sure we never have any problem in any of out project both here and in Nigeria where we start because we do not cut cost and economies’ materials. Thank you
