Monasteries in medieval times where built like small fortress because bandits tried to rob them, all that gold stored there with no guards made them easy targets. Keep it going Raptor and glory the Raptoria

I think when they said Roman they meant Romanesque (instead of Gothic). That is a style of architecture popular around 800-1250 which was partially influenced by old Roman traditions but is distinctly medieval. Which this building is built in Romanesque style.

Wow just found this video and its 2+ years old! The interface looks to have improved a lot, the in game graphics were already very good with the expandability of structures allowing lots of unique layout possibilities. I wonder what the future holds for Foundation? More "threat" perhaps? Marauders? Tower Defence or SimCity leanings? Really liking the Zoning, speed up to 10x but with breaks if TSHTF in some way?

Orchards, Castles, Weaponsmith shops, guilds and Noble manors would be awesome buildings for the game in my opinion... also they could be cool buildings to design.

Weaponsmiths are in it currently, but the only orchards are monastery vineyards. I hope they do a stone keep also.

As a Scot/European I'm horrified that you've never been to a monastery, Where I live in Scotland you cant move for Anglo Gothic architecture, I imagine American monasteries look like extended MacDonalds

Raptor:oh wow this bridge is going to be ridiculous it's actually gonna come right by the Forster building we may actually have to move this granary around in order to accommodate the bridge it's a very large structure here so we'll just try one more time to move it to where we want we can set the center the camera on it but it's just not gonna go exactly where I want so let's try this again. The bridge: 12:50 Foundation: this is the bridge you wanted.

6:12 "These are the middle ages, these people don't have like, uh, you know, brains and stu..." Well actually, some of the greatest and complex religious buildings were built in the middle ages. The towers of St. Stephen's Cathedrals and the Cologne Cathedral are quite high, so it would have been fairly believable.

I dunno why but mine can produce only 1 knight. Probably bug. I played with my crappy work computer lol. It started to slow down when I've reached 170+ population and then it just crash everytime I tried to play. And I just delete it after that. So sad. Great game tho.
