Watching how hard your crew worked and then watched the look on their faces as you gave them that bonus (both the money and the girls :) ) was just awesome. You guys got a lot done on that day!! Thanks for sharing with us James!

James, I live in Allen,TX and have watched you and Melinda for a few years. I let the green-eyed monster affect me. Through your transition, selling your things in N Tx and building your piece of paradise in iloilo with precision and all of the niceties and toys. I’ve since married my Filipina and have tried to get her visa to even visit the US. I took a hiatus from your videos and checked in on this build. The green-eyed monster of envy is my fault. You’ve got your $hit together. You and Melinda have earned everything you have. I’m 63 and my wife is 58. I just want to congratulate you on everything and also hope your health is still doing well. You’ll have to excuse me, I’ve got some catching up to do on your videos. 🤠🤘🏻

Excellent job, that's how you take care of a crew. That rain is a blessing in many ways, for the plants, the water supply and the concrete. Great job done by the TEAM.

James - you're right. You can't tell the concrete not to dry because the crew wants lunch. You arranged it ahead of time, Not nice of Mel to not leave some food for you like normal. But you certainly should have had breakfast before such a big job! It sucks that you had to go hungry because you were doing the right thing by keeping the concrete pouring. She needs to remember you are managing the job this way in both of your best interests. Having a cold joint and its consequences would not make her happy. I have to say I'm impressed with your crew. What a great system for measuring, mixing, pouring! They do need to be straightforward about having Sahara treatment handy. When it comes time for me to build something, I'll ask for photographic evidence of the materials I requested.

You've got to love the rain gods - came visiting after the pour had time to firm up a little, and helping with the curing. Much as you need the rain it would have been bad a few hours earlier.

HI JAMES , fantastic video. Here in USA , we almost always use redi mix trucks for concrete pours. We have hand mixed small amounts of concrete by hand. Since we tend to do a lot of brick and or block work , we use mortar mixers. Huge CONGRATS to you , workers and MEL and her help. BTW I bet there were no COLD JOINTS DURING/AFTER THE CHEERLEADERS.... GOD BLESS CIAO

Yup agree!. Especially regarding the language. Up here in rural Pangasinan, many workers barely understand basic English. Getting work done, needs an interpreter!! Am glad that many of James's guys seem to follow his guidance( mostly! Lol).

No food for Mr. Hightower as lanes change and he sits in a ditch as Mel runs him off in a quad E-bike sports car!, Burned rice, Chicken feet, cheerleaders , concrete line feeders, Grand prize winner MIA out cold! Chicks and pics and the thunder gods arrive over the Philippines to wash away the heat and misery of the day for a clean start tomorrow! Much enjoyed! Bill Sharon and the kids. Shire Out!
