Wayne is so likeable and genuine- he seems like a friend who you want to invite over for a chat and a cup of coffee. Love the idea of posting updates throughout the day about how the foundations wear. Hey girl! I'm also 42 and my skin has definitely changed in the last 2 to 3 years I would say, I'm always on the lookout for the perfect foundation, so difficult you would think I was looking for the ark of the covenant!!! Lol. So I tried the Givenchy luminous foundation and it was horrible and I mean horrible, so I went back to bareMinerals because it's just so quick and easy to put on and it doesn't upset my skin. I'm afraid to ask how much the bottle costs since you said it would be better if they had a smaller size... I really want to try this though! What foundation do you like to use? Ha! I'm older than you (50) and can very much attest how different a foundation can look with age. In my 20s I swore of Shiseido Compact Foundation, a waxy powder you just buffed in with the accompanying latex sponge. And after hours of clubbing you just took the aforementioned sponge and smooshed it all over again. Without even adding more product. Years later I found it wasn't such an easy process for me anymore, but I still miss that product. It was kind of a cult product back when the only other cult products were Eight Hour Cream and Ponds Cold Cream.

Oh I remember that stuff for sure! It was great for clubbing, it would just stay put during a rave. We used to use that and the Clinique or Mac compact powder and it was fantastic.

Hey Wayne! Been watching your videos for several years now and LOVE your tutorials and techniques! I wanted to point out one thing I’ve noticed in your videos that you may or may not have heard of. I was told years ago that when applying moisturizer to your face and neck that it’s best to use upward strokes rather than downward in order to keep the skin from sagging prematurely. I’m 47 and since I started using anti-aging treatments and moisturizers on my face and neck in my 20’s, I always used upward and outward strokes. I, too, have oily skin and I’ve noticed that by applying the right moisturizer can reduce the oil production in the skin. But, since using them in gentle upward and outward strokes, my skin hasn’t aged as much as most would expect. And in combination with techniques I’ve learned from you I often get taken for considerably younger. Most times in my early to mid 30’s. I want to thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with all of us and I hope my comment helps you and anyone reading. 💞💞💞

Thanks for mentioning that you’re trying to use the same amount of product across each brand. I’m not sure other pros are as conscientious of that. I’ve always thought that less is more, especially for those of us above a certain age. Thnx Wayne for showing how the foundation turns out. Love how simple and quickly u did the make up that's just perfect for daily wear, cant bear to see tutorials that show the use of layer after layers of different products whixh i find really confusing and unrealistically time consuming. It would have been perfect tho, if you can show a side by side before and after still shots to demonstrate the difference. Good job.
