He always Made Me Laugh. Now I cry. He Was The Best. I cannot believe He Is Gone.

Doesn't it hurt? Feels like a part of you/me is gone. I think his sincerity, honesty, & humility endeared him to many. He was not afraid to expose his frailties, yet was brilliantly funny, in my mind. I think many people identify with Mr. Winters (and I am honored to call him Mr. Winters), as we all have frailties and some insecurities to deal with. JW had them, but rose above them. God bless his soul.

I would say, with all honesty, many who grew up watching him on tv, emulated his jokes, or phrases, etc. It was an easy habit to pick up. The guy was as real, and as nice as he was funny.

I watched all these with great fascination. It's touching to think of someone who has brought so much joy suffering like jonathan did at various times. I've always thought of him as the genuinely funniest of all comedians and that includes everyone. the funniest person in my lifetime. he was generous to bob hope's memory.
