You do know this isn't current lore right? Same like any previous Core set. There are cards depicting events from all over the Magic history. This is just a reprint of the first Etali card.

This is a collector booster; they have deliberately high rare/foil rates (and concordant pricing). They're not intended for draft. But they're available for sale to everybody; it's not some kind of special influencer promo item.
