Foundations Collector Boxes - DUPLICATATION ISSUES?!

The artwork is so good. You got a lot of great pulls. The Muldrotha card you pulled out of the 5th box is insane. I really like the Llanowar Elves cards. This problem with duplication in the Collectors boxes have been going on for a few years. Considering you only get 12 packs and having 250 to 300 cards in a set, you get quite a few with the same print runs. This set will be in print for some time with the exception of the Collector boxes. Thank you for the video Louie.

With Black Friday this month, I think a lot of folks are just waiting until those deals go live before they buy into the set. It also gives the market a bit of time to stabilize so the price of singles levels out as we go into the first 30 days after release. Those were some epic pulls though, and there's a few big things I'm interested in getting.

Love the art in this set. But as a commander player there is a lot of dupes. But I know this is standard focus I guess. 4 boxes so far got 4 mana foil, 3 special guests, 4 JPN alt arts. But 2 of the JPN alts were English LLanowar Elves, 1 JPN version and 1 English doubling season. Can’t complain I guess.

Mana foils are 1 every 10 packs, so there’s a small chance to get two in a box

I'm watching because I recently quit magic after the UB announcement and this set is IMO a send off to "quintessential" magic IP. Too little too late for me personally but a cool looking set.

It was under ordered from distributors. Before the spoilers this set was very mid in people’s eyes. It only hit 200 because of the TCG promo where they wipe the fees for one seller. It’s impossible to know exactly how under printed this set is, but expect 300+

I keep seeing people talk about it being a 5 legal year set and assuming that means 5 years of printing. Set legality =/= print run. They can print it to oblivion, or only print it for 2 years, its hard to know because we haven't ever dealt with something like this before

Anime art is immature and lacking taste in my opinion. But the younger generation loves it. Fractured foil looks like Pokémon.

Anime art is cringe. I’ve always like magic because of the fantasy style and folklore style. Anime just doesn’t look right on it. Nor do these new “cute” cards. I don’t mind rabbits and cats etc. but that loot and shroofus card just look like Pokémon not medieval fantasy creatures.
