The fact that the Kaito and the Chandra are going for roughly the same price (according to this video) shows just how wack the prerelease market is for new sets. That Chandra's barely even playable whereas that Kaito's busted wide open. Wouldn't be surprised if the Kaito holds that price, goes up, or drops to 10, but I'm pretty sure that Chandra's gonna be a bulk mythic, dropping to less than a dollar in two months.

@@b0tj3 I pulled her in my pre release and was alot of fun but have not built a deck around her yet. there is a red card that supports her as you can return attacking creature into exile and back to your hand. If I remember the card I will let you now. It would be a great include to the deck.

@@CardboardBadger yeah, you mean norin swift survivalist. Also ragged playmate can protect her while attacking. I love to play her with jolly balloon so I can make a copy of her and attack only with the haste/flying token that jolly created so Arabella doesnt get destroyed. If I have ragged p. with jolly and arabella I create the copy of arabella with jonny, then protect arabella (the real one not the token) with playmate and attack twice with the Arabella effect.

Standard does not always fire at my lgs which a few years ago pushed me towards some Pioneer (Knight deck) before building many budget Commander decks that I have enjoyed building and researching for at my own pace and schedule. A huge amount of fun and new friends met from it. The idea of Foundations being the backbone of standard for 5 years plus new set each 8 weeks = a deck built with love and care and on theme with the odd mad rare / mythic from the next new set that adds to it. What I can't do as far as time and funds, is attempt to build a new deck with each new set for a format that may not even fire at the store. Will be very interesting 2025 but much of the UB will have to pass on. Foundations though is giving me Origins vibes and great to see so many reprints alongside new cards.
