Thank you for doing this video. It gave me great insight. The voice class that I attend train us classically for all the reasons you stated. However I was relieved to hear you say that classical training makes it more difficult for female singers to transition to other types of music such as gospel or pop. I struggled with that to the point of seriously considering quitting. Eventually I figured it out but it nice to know that it not just me.

Signed up, last moment! Long story short; been playing around with music since I was a kid (I'm 45 now), mostly electronic stuff, bit of vocals here and there, until these last few years, when I picked up classical/cinematic composition, violin, and cello. Recently started looking into bel canto as well, and suddenly made massive progress with my voice in very short time - so I figured I should investigate this further.

Hello, dear teacher; unfortunatelly this video... get very far " from the quality, clearly and carefully preparation of the extraordinary you did, examinating " "Mio Babbino Caro" ... Here, all is mix up, unfortunatelly; have to "wait" for parts" of the video... to save a bit of worthy information. I rather get into " italian" language for opera"s examples... A humble advice: please, try to number the tips; all is mix up; rock, opera ....classes... The video resulted " fatigue" from talking sooooo ...different " topics"..I wonder - what....should be taken from all this staff. May be onother video talking about your ( bussiness) classes and another just with important " tips"...please Please....It is a bit messy. Anyway, beautiful voice Videos should be preppared minute by minute. I'm very " exigent" student to myself and a study a lot....so wasting time is not my point.
