Why didn't you show us the pen writing on paper so we can see what that looks like?

I just received mine, and immediately noticed how comfortable it is to write with. The ultem feel is solid and would gladly pay twice as much for it

Did you guys adjust the post of the feed to better fit international short cartridges? Or are you now using a kaweko nib and feed unit rather than your own feed and bock nib? The fountain edc did not fit cartridges well at all. If you tried putting it into your pocket or even jostle it at all, the cartridge would just fall out of place and make an inky mess. The kaweko mini converter is basically useless since it doesn't hold enough ink. It's much more convenient to refill cartridges, but there isn't a point if it won't stay seated in place. If the post was not adjusted then it really shouldn't be advertised to hold cartridges, it should primarily be eyedropper converted since it's made of ultem. It also sounds like the pen is going to be significantly back weighted because of the titanium clip. Ultem is so light, I imagine the weight might make it unpleasant and uncomfortable to use. Or is the pen so short that the back weight won't matter in hand?

That's impressive. Normally on a demonstrator pen, or at least all those that I have seen, the manufacturers use a dark plastic at the grip so you can't see the ink going through the feed. Great innovation with yours though. What with that and plastic that won't corrode ...erm, not sure about that bit of sales speak!! I am sure that you will do well with the Kickstarter and future sales.

Does the grip section have an o-ring (like the brass and titanium Fountain EDCs have) so the ultem barrel can be eyedroppered?
@bigidesign2 ай бұрын
It does, we didn’t specifically design it as an eye dropper so be aware of that!

man, I'd love to back this, but launching a 9 day campaign between paydays means there's no way I can work this into the budget before it's over. I really don't get these ultra-brief kickstarter campaigns that seem to be popping up more and more, when more people would likely be able to contribute if it went a minimum of 14-15 days (unless the FOMO ends up really driving sales?). Anyway, will pick up one eventually, I hope (though the promise of a $25 markup makes me, well, less excited. Maybe I'll just set aside the money now and wait for the next iteration).
