I love the drama that it felt live in the Melee version, but the Air Ride version had more "oomph" on the percussion and brass on 00:41 for instance.

The Nightmare in Dream Land version is mainly chiptune, so it would have somewhat taken away the orchestrated mashup's clean sound a bit.

Forest Knight of Whispys Forest actually, they are composed by two different people. The Melee version is done by Tadashi Ikegame while the Air Ride version is done by Hirokazu Ando, and they used different instrumentation.
