Beautiful pen. I have been looking at this one, but the new fall ones they came out with have also been catching my eye, like Foxglove and Tigers Eye. Brunch Date is one of my favorite inks. Good choices for fountain pen day. I really did get much, was trying to be good lol. The only Benu I have is the exclusive with Atlas called Gold Coast. I have had it inked up for two months. I love writing with it. Now I have like five on my wish list hehe

Gold Coast is gorgeous! Tigers Eye was also on my list. I don’t know that I’ve seen Foxglove though

I love Benu pens. I love their converters. The cartridges are also nice. I used to think it was called a “cartridge converter,” too, but it’s just a converter. They’re cartridge/converter pens because they take both cartridges and converters.

Oh interesting! Thank you for pointing that out - I think I learned to call it “cartridge converter” due to information about pens on websites and really what the website is trying to say is that it takes either a cartridge or a converter

I have the Dream Bean too and love it! The scepters interest me, but no one ever talks about them. I had the same shift in my thinking of Benu.

Fran, I have 2 Benu Scepters with a Third one on the way.!! I absolutely Love them. Don’t hold back if one of them is calling your name.!! 💖

I think it’s just about finding a Benu that is beautiful to your eye and then you’re hooked!

One thing I like about the Scepter (but not the Grand Scepter) is that you can get it with an extra fine nib if that's something you enjoy.

I’m the same as you in that I started out thinking Benu pens were too glitzy, and now I see their appeal. I picked up one on Fountain Pen Day, too!

I know I'm a little bit late to the party but congratulations on your new BENU. I think the fact that the acrylic of each Talisman is infused with the substance it's named after makes them even more unique and interesting. I think my favorite so far is the Venus's Hair Talisman. For Fountain Pen Day I bought the Leonardo Momento Zero "Black Sands" which is a Goldspot exclusive. Best wishes. 🙂

What a lovely pen. I like the neat writing. And don't get me started on all those brown inks!! I think I need a really dark brown ink that has some degree of water resist. Diamine chocolete brown is great, but not resistant at all. This year, I got a Pelikan green demonstrator which I have a review of on my side of youtube. I also purchased a Magna Carta Mag 600 flex---which they seem to never going to ship. Good luck!! :)

Did you get the new green M800 demonstrator from Pelikan?! I was just looking at that. I wonder if DeAtrementis had a dark brown archival ink
