I love diamine inks too. I have a lot because they were priced at cult pens almost as much as a sample in the USA. I remember trying salamander way back when I got my first pen, and I liked it. I ended up getting a bottle of classic green which is very similar. I love the dark greens! Merlot is so pretty, I’ve not tried that ink yet.
