as i have previously stated: I'm loving all your bass line playalongs. it makes me have to really tune my ear into your groove rather than just relying on the drums define the center of the beat. also, very nice playing as usual! thank you mr.sunnybass!

Great playing. As others have stated, it's Ebm7 - Ab7 - Fm7 in measures 3-5. They actually fit with the melody so no biggie. Either way, thanks for posting this. You have a great feel and nice lines.

You have changed de II V of the bar 3 and 4, is that ok? The original is Eb-7 Ab7 and you do Bb-7 Eb7

I used the Real Book 1 version.

The original edition of the real book has it with the Bbm7. Most of the famous recordings are: Ebmaj7 Ebm7 Ab7 Fm7 Abm7 Db7. I actually don’t know if Bbm7 was from a particular recording or just a mistaken transcription. It was Berklee in the 70’s and well, “drugs are bad. Mkay?”

Some people insist on using the old Real Book 1 version, or don't know any better. If you practice with Mauro, you will be ready in case you are on a session and someone plays these changes; you can just play them instead of getting mad. Thank you Mauro!! All musicians love you!
