The biggest complaint against pythons is that they kill alligators... which are 100% an invasive species. Iguanas and Pythons are endangered in their natural habitats and the rainforests of Burma are disappearing. So people should open their minds and do research instead of parroting shit they heard from neck beards without any research like it’s gospel.

Seriously, what is wrong with this woman. You do not capture an iguana by stepping on its tail. She should have grabbed it behind it's front lets to hold it and then grabbed it right in front of it's back legs. Adult iguanas are not guaranteed to grow their tails back, and if they do it tends to be only the color of the scales from where it broke off and it never grows back as long (if at all). They do not deserve to own this iguana if it is a pet, and she deserve to have one of her body parts ripped off.

As a person who has had an iguana for nine years I can assure you that grabbing and/or stepping on their tails is not the appropriate way to handle them. Yes, their tails eventually grow back. ACTUALLY what she did was good for the environment that species of iguana (Green Iguana) is extremely invasive and is destroying ecosystems all over the world so much so that Florida encourages people to hunt them. Also the tail snapping off is just a secondary defense mechanism on the lizard it’s called autonomy they will grow it back but this lizard should probably be put down

the iguana uses it's tail as primary defense, and by removing it the iguana will be vulnerable to predators, if the iguana is lucky, then the tail will grow back within a year or so, but the iguana will have to survive without it's weapon against predators.
