In my opinion the core of synthesis in modular as it is today is modulation synthesis which covers anything that has an m after its how you can integrate , additive, rm,subtractive,serious thru zero fm, fm , phase modulation, even vector (this one is iffy ) requires movement , amplitude modulation, as focal points of things like scanned and modal… even microsound needs it to make the craziest textural elements in it. Cross mod is the first example of how texture of how you can make them all behave strangely and with esoteric levels of synergy..don’t forget to modulate you’re modulators is - the slogan not unlike keep coming back it works if you work it in AA … I generally try to attribute it to Schlappi and his region of the eurorack engineering crews around him … It’s all over his old videos… when the two body was there.. NLC is lining his case.. i have four cases of modules that aren’t small and are tethered by hdmi …. I would have preferred cat 6 but that was hard to get in quantity and some had latency, at the time… I’m hybridizing everything even more now… modules like these can with one per case and adders averagers ,precision adders, and logic , dividers and multipliers that can handle longer signals with mults can drive something enormous achieving immense movements in sound. Function is where you can define a sound as your’s or something derivative.. I’m monastic about modular and only get what appeals to me it has to be ( unavailable here to fore in modular) or buy one of what I call the function creep geniuses.. when they release a module my ears perk up . This would be next to many voices and near a morph four in any case if i was redesigning I would two above each M4. For you up and coming eurorack psychos.. I would like to feel the build but the fm module was pretty durable… encoders are the weakness in a build in my opinion .. I prefer metal pots and no plastic in the pot outside of maybe the bottom housing fm is about feedback and amplitude so you need tons of ins and outs or normalized everything which is a lovely way to build a module.like studio electronics did it with the periods of their gear.. like an accidental displacement shouldn’t end a module… and should better yet be an opportunity. My two sense Stazma but always incredible experimentation application and I prefer the overview to the walkthroughs as an example…. And the many varied systematic applications.. always brilliant. Voltage is voltage is the cosmogony of “remember to modulate your modulators…” that’s what I tell people specifically in 3u eurorack after certain period and excluding certain companies.. but it’s how you can build a synth architecture to duplicate the output of something you dig , all the way to using resynthesis in different ways to combine with rectangular additive textures more side bands than harmonics from the fundamental after entering a great Steiner Parker to the whole thing and modulate it with and angle grinder… ❤❤❤❤❤ I love this place and the people and the modules covered.

wait you can also record the modulation destination? really fantastic module. great compliment to bastl neo trinity. How do you like the sosumi btw, does it play well in stereo?

No you can't record on the option page (so far at least). sosumi is great! A lovely and simple LPG like this is always good to have.

I love the elegance and compactness of this module, but Im afraid I will forget how to do most of the things every time I turn off the system. Some times key combinations and multi function controls are more complex than menus.
