The second one when Lao Wen asked back whether ZZS could say that all people he had killed are all bad people. ZZS sadness at that moment really move my emotion a lot. Especially when you know his past from Qi Ye novel. This word of lao wen speared right through ZZS heart. The damage was much more than any weapon can inflict.

I almost say 2nd, but then the 3rd came up. The 2nd was sad because zzs was trying to "wake" wkx up. But then wkx, feeling judged and hurt, decided to hurt zzs back by asking if zzs had only killed innocent people. But the 3rd was really hurt because wkx was so ready to leave everything behind and live with zzs, the one he considered as his soulmate. but then zzs threw his hope and broke him by saying he rather die than losing his martial arts, like he was saying his martial arts was more important than wkx 🥺

3rd one. That one had me broken up when reading the book, and I'm glad they had a very similar script in the drama. Lao Wen is doomed to be too late. 😭

They are not divorces, just lover's spats. They can't stay away from each other. Literally 'til death do us part'. All of these moments only made them closer, more intimate with each other, more of a couple. They didn't really separate during the fourth one, just took their kid and left. The one that hits most for me wasn't shown here, but it was when ZZS leaves Four Seasons during ep 36. 1) they came back together after the burial scene, 2) ZZS finds that he has no room to talk about collateral damage and that WKX isn't crazy, 3) ZZS doesn't know who WKX is yet despite knowing they are soul mates, 4) ZZS might have said 'stay away' but they left that party together.

I have to say I was worried about their relationship. They sure had their ups and downs. I loved that. Like every couple. We may love someone, but we are never sure about their feelings and commitment, even more about their chore values on important situations. They both had different perspectives on things, and that almost got them part ways. The first one was the first one WKX understood how different they were. His face when ZZ left him was heartbreaking. The second was for me deeper because WKX replied angrily. zZ: "Are you satisfied?" and the reply: "do you dare say you're the only one that killed bad people" (I remember a different translation to that: do you dare saying that you haven't killed innocent people?) ZZ then asked himself if he did right choosing WKX. Who hasn't had doubts while in a relationship? The third one is not in their values and motives, but in their relationship itself. It is the first big fight about them as a couple, and how they wanted to live together. Very powerful one because they want opposite things. The fourth one comes again to their values and how they see life. They both want different things. WKX wants to burn everything down to ashes, thirsty of vengeance. ZZ wants to redeem himself for all the bad things he did in the past. What common ground could they have? Until, they both surrounded to the other and find it. Sadly, the fith time they parted ways was for me the saddest one. ZZ decides that WKX was right. Once you lose the one you love the most nothing is more important than seeking vengeance, and he does. He understands now... Sadly, WKX was still alive and propels ZZ death... If only he had been more opened to ZZ... Damn you wKx!

On the thirdy one, in the novel, WKX says "fortunately, fortunately..." and the next phrase became a thought of his: "fortunately, I didn't fall for you completely" little him knowing his heart towards ZZS was already full, and that was what broke me the most.

My favorite is #2 but #4 is so important because it’s a huge realization to WKX when ZZS draws a hard line in the sand and tells him that he has stood with him up to this point but can’t any longer and basically gives him an ultimatum by walking away and hoping WKX is willing to change since it was ZZS choice to reveal himself and be completely open to him.

Third one is not a breakup but a very sad moment. The other three are kind of breaking up from ZZS. He is the one who has the upper hands even though he already fall for WKX. I think each time they ended up together with WKX's help. ZZS is not a harsh person , just like WKX said ----he has softheart. WKX really loves ZZS so as long as ZZS forgave him, he will be happy.

I hated every time Ah Xu walk away from Lao Wen and he often hurt Lao Wen both word and action. (Especially in scene no.3) He never once tried to understand Lao Wen's feeling, He always judge everything only by himself. How many times he turn away from Lao Wen and never asked why Lao Wen did this? and He always said sarcastic words to Lao Wen with no care how Lao Wen hurts. He acted like Lao Wen have to pursue him all the time and have to obey him. I almost hate this character of Ah Xu both in drama and novel. But luckily Ah Xu has improved his side of 'I always the right one and walk away' of him. So it's turn to okay for me.

Well it's not entirely Axu fault though. At least, Axu opened up his heart to Lao wen. But what about Lao wen? He's so secretive. That's why Axu said 'if I couldn't guess your thinking, you will always close your heart like this?'. I didn't hate Lao wen because he has his own side of struggle, but he's being so unfair to Axu because of lack of communication from lao wen's side.
