Some more interesting errors... and more puzzles. Although the train could be missing red, I agree with you that the other three errors don't look like they're missing-colour errors, so how did they happen? Looking forward to seeing if any viewers can offer an insight. :)

They're all head scratchers that's for sure, I've started to look out for these errors more and more now. I've found one or two more less impressive oddities that I'll show in a future video

I found your error videos really interesting. This side of philately is cool studying a collection of stamps with the excitement of searching and finding an error or variety is like a small win on the lottery. I have many errors of GB, commonwealth and world and makes a great alternative collection. Great videos and definitely worth while

I think the 1979 Landmark stamps colour fades are from a presentation pack that have been exposed to a lot of ultra violet from direct sunlight ,Red can fade very easy

I honestly don't know Mike, they could be or they might be the real deal. They are definite head scratchers

Thank you for an interesting video. I like the style of your videos, and I learn a lot about the content. I unfortunately have nothing intelligent to say about the errors. I know too little about the printing process and what errors can happen with printing and exactly how fading works and what one can expect. Maybe there was a run with more diluted inks? But it was interesting to see what one can find.

I'll need to get the stock books out again and have a look. That packet you bought was a find. These look like they are missing one colour but it would take someone more knowledgeable about the print process to tell you what was missing. I'm guessing social media is probably dismissing These as sun bleached again?

I haven't shared these on social media after the last time, It's amazing how quickly they were dismissed. I honestly don't know if these are sun bleached, I doubt it - and if they are, well they certainly weren't bleached by me. As shown in this video - two of the stamps were from that packet that I bought earlier in the year as they have the same black card strands on the back. The same as the others did that I showed in previous videos.

Is it possible that the magenta layer, which is usually the top layer, has been bleached out by uv daylight?
@coinsstampsandcollectibles35525 ай бұрын
Possibly, they could be genuine or bleached by sunlight. I keep my collection in albums so they're never exposed to sunlight, the Hampton Court and Kensington Palace seem to have been kept in an album by the previous owner too as the reverse shows the black fibres of when they were mounted on black card - which suggests to me they were kept in some sort of binder or album, but we'll never know for sure.
