Omg. I just wanted to say how much I appreciated Mikey Madison’s performance as Anora. She brought such an incredible depth to the character, and I was so moved by the way she captured every emotion so subtly yet powerfully. the characters vulnerability had such nuance. Her ability to convey complex emotions without saying anything, she deserves an Oscar, she’s a force to be reckoned with!

I'm a psychotherapist and appreciated Anora for many reasons. My favorite is it depicts how silly it is to say "my husband" . It gives people temporary magical strength, until they realize it's meaningless. Oh, and "Florida Project" is the best movie of the century.

Sure, Paris Texas, Felini, Lars Von Trier all have to be there, but we all know Miami Connection is the best movie mentioned here or on any list. It was Stanley Kubrick and Akira Kurosawa's biggest inspiration, they ripped it off constantly. And it was the entire reason John Ford became a director. Totally snubbed at the Oscars in 1987 as well.
