I’m truly impressed with the textures and paint apps that they were able to work into that piece. I think it’s smart that they did the ratchet joints on him for the long run of display. Congrats on the addition to your collection! I just got the black raven Decimus in the mail myself from BBTS. Great review!

The paints on this are so damn nice. The club is a highlight for me, though. The detail and wash on it looks stellar. That thing is so big lol. Do you plan to get any of the other Trolls or Ogres?

I certainly WANT to...but the aftermarket on the previous trolls is rough. $100 for this guy I could somewhat justify, and I'm ok with that price now that I have him, but $200+ for other trolls is too steep. I imagine they'll release more down the road, in which case I could jump on that at release, rather than waiting around.

Soooooo. I just learned that this is a GOOD guy. Now I'm gonna have to make a point to hunt down an EVIL troll. He's a cyclops, so I'm not really complaining that I got him, but I really wanted a beast to battle the elves, knights, and barbarians.

@@ToyBro I hear you. I originally didn't want to get caught up in the lore of these guys, but now I've kinda got hooked into the storyline. His bio said that the skull on his club is a friend that he was forced to compete against in the arena. He's kind of like Gladiator Hulk. A good guy forced to fight, now freed and fighting evil.

I love the story behind this stuff, I just wish there was a more fleshed out way to get into it. There's a single comic for 1.0 that fleshes some stuff out, but the bios do a pretty decent job.
