Brilliant David ... I just wish I'd had a science teacher back at school like you ... I'm over 60 now and have far more interest in all these things ...I never had people like you to fire my thinking and interest back then.. Thanks very much for sharing ... I suppose we don't need to know these things, but they are great to know about and realise .... Keith

You know that today seen your video I finally understand why during a earthquake you often see a release of energy in the sky like lightning, and it’s because they high content of quartz in the tectonic plates, the movement trigger the friction between each other and so the release of energy.

Fantastic information, exciting presentation. I've been fascinated with quartz crystals for many years. Others as well, but mostly quartz. Rubbing theedges together in a darkened room produces glashes of light. The piezo effect. Never ceases to amaze others (me too). So man hidden gems in crystals, the ultimate expression of minerals on our earth. I'm 89 hears old & can never get enough of the miraculous facts about the science of our beautiful planet. Thanks for the lesson; I wish I''d also had such brillient & exciting teachers.

there’s something very compelling about crystals; something mesmerising about them. You mentioned the crystals ‘healing’ the ‘wounds’ in the cracks of the earth. I wonder if they could harness that to heal human wounds too somehow, some day?

Thank you 🙏 that’s is the most beautiful explanation that I have ever heard about crystals from a scientist. I am highly sensitive to the energy crystals emit and I am always looking for the scientific explanation. Please post more on Crystals 🙏🙏🙏🥰

4:20 Aurora Borealis: This term refers to the northern lights. Etymology: "Aurora" means "dawn" in Latin. "Borealis" means "northern" (from "Boreas," the Greek god of the north wind). Therefore, Aurora Borealis translates to "northern dawn." Aurora Australis: This term refers to the southern lights. Etymology: "Australis" means "southern" (from the Latin word "australis"). Thus, Aurora Australis translates to "southern dawn."

I have created a plexiglass tetrahedron with Uruguayan amethyst crystal plates fiberglassed to the inside of this meditation tool. I used a sacred geometry number 108 in volume to link in an interdimensional force, which will become entrained with the magnetitie in our brain tissues. 6 sides at 18 inches in length =108 inches. I have wrapped it in carbon fiber & it is hung overhead with just the crown Chakra engaging the bottom plane of said device,as it generates a spiral of orgone. It also engages its frequency with the calcite in the pineal gland, opening the 3rd eye. It deepens ones sense of inner peace & intuitive clarity. Chanting Omm while meditating under it=is also encouraged.

One classical error unfortunately, and one the experts often slip into erronously that the speed of light is 2/3rds when operating in a reflection mode, such as through water or as in fibre optics. In a vacuum as in space it is the 300,000,000 Km per second but in a fibre optic around 200,000,000 Km per second. Your presentation is excellent and I would not wish to take away any aspect of the content and the telling as it is superb and I am a retired IT systems and integration IBM professional public business speaker and have trained university engineers in presenting, hopefully nearly as good as you David...! (I often made classic errors like this in my printed presentations and see the typos and errors and would cringe within myself but the time machine is still not appearing from a laboratories...)

Is there a process for humans making quartz of an improved clarity? Like melting silica, and while the silica is pouring and cooling have it entombed in activated charcoal, without the activated charcoal touching the silica, and running a distilled water over the silica to get it to create a psionic field for the moving-molten silica to grab onto oxygen... Or something.. I just want to find an alternative torch for lampworking! Such as a sunray or something, not reliant upon a typical flame...

This is a little like what you are saying except the light eventually comes out but it was concentrated and can melt it's way out sometimes in a jet stream of silicon dioxide like fiberglass or angelhair. It's actually a quasar tail from a light 🕳️ known as a black hole.
The crystal your holding, although you move it fast; appears to be balanced with a male and female point.
