You're correct the way she lathers them not caring if it gets in their eyes, pours water right over their heads etc... they don't know when to breathe poor things! It's so unnatural for them to be washed like this, their meant to be in the wild with their mother's or family members grooming them, no wild monkey mother cleans their babies with soap meant for human skin and by dunking them underwater they pretty much just use their hands and mouths and if there's a water source nearby they might take a dip with the baby attached to them or the babies might play in it but this, this is cruel. The way she props them all up like she's playing with dollies is quite disturbing...

Пока они маленькие им лучше быть под присмотром людей. те кто держат обезьянок дома в основном вынуждены их куда-то девать в 4-5 лет. т.к. половозрелые обезьяны очень агрессивны. Если их отпустят в лес, то они могут погибнуть, т.к. ничего не умеют. их забивают их сородичи. А кроме того у них не сформированы мышцы чтобы ходить в туалет, поэтому у них постоянный понос (они пьют порошковое молоко и твердой пищи мало попадает). А судьба многих знаете какая? Их сжирают их воспитатели пока мясо их ещё нежное. Это разъяснял по-английски один знаток. А моют их постоянно, т.к. у них специфический запах. А еще их ограничивают в движениях, чтобы мясо не стало жестким. Я сразу не могла поверить. Так что вот.

@Dawn Kelly I think diaper is American slang for nappy, a sort of absorbent pad for when a baby goes to the toilet. These monkeys look okay, probably the mother monkeys are dead. Likely culled on a plantation or similar for eating the harvest. Dilemma can arise when clearing up after a cull and find some of the dead have their young clinging to them. What to do with them ?

Behind this nice "idyllic" picture, it's easy to see the tough behind-the-scenes training. There is nothing more horrible than forcing an ape to walk on their hind legs, their spine is totally unsuited for it. Both animals are terrified, most likely spending time outside of filming in a cramped cage. These people don't like animals, they make money off of their torture, and when the viewing ratings drop, they'll just throw them back into the woods and buy new ones from poachers.

Wild monkeys wean because that is what is needed for survival. These monkeys are hit for not performing for the camera

Humans have totally different thermoregulation. Monkeys seek out the coolest possibly water to swim and bathe in, especially in this hot climate. They love cool water :)
