I'm a fan of the harmonica (though I play it badly), and Franz Chmel is, I would say, the best performer on the instrument I have ever heard. I made a comment on one of his videos, and his wife replied, telling me of the hours of practice he had put in for La Campanella. I wrote back asking if he was planning any trips to the UK, and she replied that he has now gone to join the Great ensemble in the sky - he is no longer with us. That got me to thinking about James Edinberg, who seems to have accompanied Franz most of his professional life, and I googled him. He's a fine pianist, and I wondered if he had played as a soloist. I didn't find anything, and he doesn't seem to have a Wiki either. However, I came across this music (in the video) which seems to have been composed by him. Can anybody say what has become of Jim Edinberg, and perhaps say a little about his life?

Fantastic!! May I ask you a question? I notice (in the accompanying photographs) that you seem to be blowing into the harmonica from a side-ways angle (as opposed to directly to the front) is there a distinct advantage to holding the instrument this way, or is it just a matter of it being more comfortable to you this way?
