When I join the Marine Corps in 1965. The drill instructor told us formation I think two times. He thought that we’re all gonna go to Vietnam. Some of you will die. The ones that come home are gonna be loaded down with ribbons. Be humble only where the most important ones. We’re not the army. The army likes to have 10 rolls of ribbons for somebody’s done one tour.

Looks like they're having fun. They say the constitution, but what if the president says/does something against it. Would they have to disagree with him?

In Tunisia the national guard even ensured the exile of an authoritarian president, preserving the opportunity for future democracy. Though the country still has many unstable political parties now.

@@warriorpoetapprentice1523 Yeah. Then you better pass this on to every cop who only trains once a year. These Marines train on weapons more than any other branch. Nice try, ꓘomrad .

The biggest regret of my life is becoming a Marine. At 18, in Afghanistan, a grenade explosion from the enemy caused 2 of us to get SEVERE TBIS on our medical records. ONCE AGAIN, ITS IN MY MARINE CORP MEDICAL RECORD. I receive NO PURPLE HEART. No proper medical care after, and then at 21, after a misdemeanor, I was kicked out which resulted in NO COLLEGE… Say whatever anyone wants, my brain has not been the same after service. Keep in mind, there are service members that were caught selling cocaine and still got out honorable… please call me out if you want the proof… but I don’t think it will be needed… I think plenty of you have witnessed plenty of service members doing wrong but getting away with it… Y’all want to uphold the people who actually fought at a standard that you don’t even hold our dirty politicians to, you just bow down to them.
